Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to teach so many talented, kind, energetic, and musically curious children. I’ve also been fortunate to see many of these children who come to me when they are 5 or 6 grow into young adults with a very sophisticated sense of music. I thought I would post a picture of one of them today, who after 12+ years has gone from a wide-eyed curious little fellow to becoming a phenomenal musician and guitarist. We just had our spring concert and he ended the show playing a solo arrangement of Manuel de Falla’s La Vida Breve. An arrangement in which it seems like you need an extra several fingers to pull off!
